We are back in action today with a race from Aqueduct and a race from Delta Downs.

Wonderdog's first pick is out of the 2nd race, a six furlong event for 4 year old and up maiden special weights.  Many of the horses in this race have been huge disappointments thus far.  None more than our Value Play selection #1 Bomber Boy.  Since changing barns Bomber Boy (morning line 5 to 1), he has been on the sidelines since October 7, 2011.

Today Bomber Boy gets Eddie Castro returning from an injury he suffered in mid October.  Unfortunately he went off as a 2 to 1 underlay.  Our Value Play selection comfortably won the race in a driving fashion by 2 1/2 lengths paying $6.70 to win and $5.20 to place.  Our system profit for the race was $22.75.

Wunderdog's second free selection was out of the 1st race at Delta Downs.  The race was scheduled to post at 6:45 eastern, long past the end of the 2nd at Aqueduct illustrating the need or an online wagering account.  Our Value Play horse was #4 My Little Cher Amio (5 to 1 morning line).

Because of the late post, I had to catch the race on TVG (The Thoroughbred Racing Network).  TVG analyst Christina Olivares handicapped the race and made My Little Cher Amio her "check mark" selection.  If you have never watched Christina on TVG you should.  She is a very good handicapper and frequently picks and wins with good paying horses.  Her father was a trainer on the southern California circuit and he taught his daughter well.  To learn more about Christina go to the TVG web site.

Unfortunately Ms Olivares was not right today!

My Little Cher Amio who went off as a 5 to 2 underlay, chased the early pace and finished well in 4th place.  The top Wunderdog selection, #8 House Of Stars finished 2nd completing a $145.00 exacta.  Our system loss for the race was $20.00 reducing or daily profit to $2.75.  Not a big profit but we "live to fight another day".
