Hall Of Flame Overtakes Heavily Favored Azasecret To Pay $17.60

Free Horse Racing Pick  October 11, 2012
I received my free Wunderdog horse racing newsletter a little earlier than usual on Thursday as the free race was the first at Belmont.  The first race was a $20,000 maiden claiming race for fillies and mares run over the 6 furlong dirt track.

Top Wunderdog pick, a speedy filly named   Azasecret, went off as an overwhelming 3 to 5 favorite.  The Value Play Horse was #6 Hall Of Flame with a 5 to 1 morning line.  To learn how to play the "Value Play Horse" click in this link.

When the gate open Azasecret  sprung to the lead and led most of the way.  Our Value Play Horse drove past Azasecret at the wire returning to her backers $17.60 to win and $5.10 to place.  Using the rules detailed on the Value Play website we generated a $51.50 profit on the race.  For those who box exactas, the 6-8 exacta returned $32.00.

Results for the month are detailed below:

Using the Value Play horse racing system rules #5 Raquel produced a $48.00 profit detailed in the table below.

The race was off cleanly and in the end  #7 Divadora won the race with #5 Rock N Cozy placing rounding out a $116.00 exacta.  Nice hit for those of you who play an exacta box using the Wunderdog's picks.

Free Horse Racing Picks for Wed Mar 21st from Wunderdog
Once again I have a little catching up to do to bring my horse racing system result page up to date. Wunderdog's free horse racing picks for Wednesday are from Aqueduct and Penn National.

The first free pick is out of the 2nd race at Aqueduct, a 6 1/2 furlong state bred Allowance Optional Claiming for 3 year olds and up.  Because of the mild winter on the east coast Aqueduct officials are moving racing to the outer track two weeks early.

Our Value Play system pick is also the top Wunderdog pick # 4 Cooper River.  Cooper River was off at 4 to 1, a slight underlay to his 5 to 1 morning line.  There were several Jockey changes in this race as Ramon Dominquez is off his mounts for a while as he recovers from an injury he sustained in the last race on Sunday. Both he and his mount Mob Wife are ok.

CC Lopez aboard Cooper River broke first from the gate and quickly established control of the race.  The eventual winner of the race, #3 Haya's Boy pressured Cooper River overtaking him mid-stretch. Cooper River paid $4.00 to place and completed at $25.80 exacta.  Using the Value Play System rules we made a $64.50 profit on the race.

The second free pick was out of the 1st race at Penn National.  The 1st at Penn National was a $15,000 state bred claiming race run at 6 furlongs on the dirt.  All 3 Wunderdog selections were shippers from nearby PARX.  The system bet was #3 Bigstormrising, 4 to 1 morning line.  Bigstormrising went off at 7 to 1 and ran a disappointing last.  In fact all 3 of Wunderdog's picks finished as the bottom 3 in the race.  Nothings perfect!!  We last $20.00 in the race but made 1 $44.50 profit for the day.

Free Picks From Wunderdog for March 22, 2012
On Thursday our free horse racing pick from Wunderdog was out of the first race at Aqueduct.  As can happen at Aqueduct the race was riddled with scratches making the field very small.  The Value Play horse racing system selection was #3 Mystical Rhythms.

The race developed into a 2 horse race from the start between top Wunderdog pick #1 Scott's Ally Cat and # 8 Celebrity Sighting.  Top pick, Scott's Ally Cat won the race paying $6.30 to win and $3.10 to place.  Celebrity Sighting placed paying $2.60 in the middle.  The exacta paid $16.20.  Playing the race using the system rules cost you $20.00 for the race.

On Sunday our free horse pick from Wunderdog is out of  the 2nd race at Aqueduct.  The mild winter continues in the northeast and the Aqueduct inner track was fast. The second race is an Allowance Optional Claiming race for 3 year olds run at a mile.

Applying  the Value Play system rules the system pick is #2 Little Wyatt.  Little Wyatt, trained by Robert Barbara, gets the services of the red hot jockey Chuck Lopez.  Little Wyatt broke his maiden last out at 6 furlongs and this is his first start a 2 turns.  He should be on the front and Chuck Lopez is on of the best at getting a horse to relax on the lead.

True to form Little Wyatt, off at his 6 to 1 morning line, broke first and led the field to the top of the stretch.  He was outfinished to the wire by Wunderdog's third pick #5, Ramon Dominquez and Quiet Man.  Little Wyatt paid $7.80 in the middle and completed a $46.40 exacta with Quiet Man.

The Value Play horse racing system earned a $17.50 profit for the day.

Wunderdog Free Horse Pick  - Kathleen O'Connell Trained Unflappable - St Patrick's Day Special
Wunderdog's free horse racing pick is out of the 3rd race today at Tampa Bay.  As usual it was a beautiful winter day on the west coast of Florida.  The 3rd at Tampa was an open $8,000 Claiming Race, for 3 year olds and up, run at 1 mile and 40 yards on the dirt track.  The Value Play system horse was #8 Unflappable trained by Kathleen O'Connell.  Not a bad St Patrick's Day pick

Unflappable Trying to Overtake Tango Whiskey at The Line
The race turned into a 2 horse race at the top of the stretch.  Top pick Tango Whiskey and Value Play Unflappable exchanged positions several times in the lane only to have Tango Whiskey overtake Unflappable at the wire.

Heavily favored Tango Whiskey paid $3.00 to win and $2.60 to place.  Unflappable paid $6.00 in the middle and completed a $23.60 exacta.

The Value Play horse racing system produced a $69.00 profit for the day.

I'm  a little behind on my updates this week so I thought it would be easier to construct a summary spreadsheet detailing this weeks results.

Wunderdog released 8 free horse racing picks this week.  Of those 8 free horse racing picks 3 were winners.  The biggest winner came out of the 2nd race at Aqueduct on March 11th.  Joker Jack, 8 to 1 on the morning line went off at 11 to won and paid $24.80 to win and $8.20 to place.

As I mentioned an prior updates NY based trainer Linda Rice is very dangerous when she is racing a horse she owns and when she assigns the mount to her go to jockey Corneilo Valasquez.  Such was the case with Joker Jack.  Completing the exacta was 6 to 1 Go to the Net,  Wunderdog's third pick in that race.  The exacta paid $87.00.

J Delgato Aboard Kokance Kid After Crossing The Wire First
On March 15th the Value Play horse racing system was # 8 Kokance Kid in the 3rd race at Tampa bay Downs.  Kokance Kid was a first time blinker horse and won the race in a driving fashion.  She rewarded the Value Play backers paying $11.80 to win and $5.00 to place.  Top Wunderdog pick Wokeuponhomeplate finished second completing a $35.80 exacta.  The Value Play horse racing system ruled do not provide for an exacta box, buy I know some players wo do box the Value Play horse with the top Wunderdog with very good results.

Wunderdog Free Horse Pick  3/4/2012
Wunderdog's free horse racing pick is out of the second race at Aqueduct today.  The second is a Allowance Optional Claiming Race run on Aqueducts inner dirt track at a distance of 1 mile and 70 yards.  The top free pick # 1 Fantasy of Flight went off a 3 to 5 favorite, an underlay to her 6 to 5 morning line.  Fantasy Flight is a lightly raced filly who is returning after 12 days rest.  With Ramon Dominquez up Fantasy Flight is clearly the one to beat.

Our Free Value Play system horse is # 4 Royal Sighting.  4 to 1 on the morning line Royal Sighting went of as a 5 to 1 overlay.  A good work on February 27th signals she may be ready to win.  She gets CC Lopez today and should be driving off the pace.

When the race was over Fantasy Flight disappointed her backers by getting caught at the top of the stretch by a Alan Garcia riding a stalking Nefertini in a driving finish.  Our free system horse saved ground throughout but failed to be a factor in the race.  We lost our $20.00 system bet for the Sunday.

Saturday March 3, 2012

This is the time of year when the 3 year olds start to come into form.  Today's free horse racing pick from Wunderdog comes from the second race at Gulfstream Park in beautiful Hallandale, Florida just north of Miami.  The second is a Florida bred, Maiden Special Weight for 3 year olds, run at 7 furlongs over the dirt track.  The weather is perfect in Florida today and the track is fast.
Wunderdog Free Pick March 3rd, 2012

The top free pick from Wunderdog is # 4 Closerwalk, a $125,000 son of "Street Sense" who finished second in his two previous starts, the lost one in a non restricted Maiden Special race.  The Wayne Catalano trained colt picks up the services of top jock Javier Castellano.

The Gulfstream betters hammered Closerwalk making him the 1 to 2 favorite in the race.  Closerwalk  showed good speed early in the race drawing clear in the stretch paying $3.00 to win and $2.40 to place.

The free Value Play system horse was # 6 Cocktails With Dan.  Cocktails With Dan is making his debut here boasting some good works.  Trainer Jane Cibeli is having a good success at Gulfstream and Cocktails With Dan was sent off an 11 to 1 overlay to his morning line of 6 to 1.  Cocktails With Dan hesitated at the break and was finished half way through the race.  The  horse racing system produced a $20.00 loss for the day.

Wunderdog Free Horse Racing Pick  3/2/2012
Back to Tampa Bay today for the third day in a row.  Another beautiful day at Tampa and the track is fast.  Wunderdog's free horse pick today is race #4, a $8,000 maiden claiming event for 4 year olds and up run over 7 furlongs.  I notice that a lot of the free horse picks from Wunderdog come out of these type of races.  Its been my handicapping experience that 4 year old maiden races are usually won by "lightly" raced horses.  I've also noticed that in older maiden races, horses that have in the money finishes get over bet.  A lot of these horses turn out to be perpetual maidens.

Wunderdog's top choice #3 Oughterson is one of those lightly raced horses that was claimed at this level 2 races ago.  His last 2 starts were good races and the change of distance makes him a tough horse to beat.

Our Wunderdog Value Play horse is # 4 Talk.  Wunderdog describes him as "not a win candidate" but a horse who has been improving off of a recent rest.  I'm not nuts about the comment but these kind of horses can win cheap older maiden races at a nice price.

When the horses crossed the finish line the Wunderdog top pick was first.  Oughterson stalked behind the Wunderdog second selection #6 Sayyourprayersnow to the top of the lane and passed him mid stretch driving to the finish.  Oughterson paid $6.20 to win and $3.20 to place.  Sayyourprayersnow completed the exacta paying $3.40 to show and $27.40 in the exacta.

The free Value Play horse racing system pick, #4 Talk ran a much improved race and finished third.  The free system lost $20.00 for the day.

Race 3 is a $12,000 maiden claiming race for 3 year olds run on the dirt for 7 furlongs.  The Value Play free horse racing system pick is #4 Fly Dixie.  Fly Dixie went off as a slight underlay of 7 to 2 compared to his morning line of 4 to 1.  Fly Dixie stalked a quick pace and won with a driving rush at the line.  Fly Dixie paid $9.80 to win and $4.40 to place.  Starting the month off on the right foot, our daily profit on our free horse racing system is $26.50.

Fly Dixie in the Winners Circle @ Tampa Bay
Top pick #3 Wokeuponhomeplate, morning line 5 to 2, went off as a slight overlay of 7 to 2.  Wokeuponhomeplate chased the winner throughout drew even in the stretch and was out kicked at the finish by the eventual winner Fly Dixie.  Wokeuponhomeplate paid $4.80 to place and completed a $41.20 exacta.

The leap year gives us one more chance to get the month of February even.  Our win rates have not been too bad through during the month we have an unusually high rate of low priced winners and exactas cashing.

Today's free horse picks arrived a little later than usual and included 2 races, 1 from Tampa Bay and 1 from Delta Downs.

Wunderdog Free Horse Racing Pick for Tampa 2/29/2011

Race 8 at Tampa Bay is a $12.000 claiming event for 3 year old fillies run at 6 furlongs.  The weather was sunny and warm in Tampa and the dirt track was fast.

Top Wunderdog pick #1 Philippis, 8 to 5 morning line went off at 4 to 5 and was no factor in the race finishing a disappointing 7th.

The Value Play free horse racing system play was #9 Pa Pa Perfect who was assigned a 5 to 1 morning line.  Pa Pa Perfect, off at 7 to 1, was hung 5 wide on the final turn and had nothing left in the stretch finishing a weak 4th.

The race was won by Wunderdog 2nd choice #6 Ruby Red, 4 to 1 morning line.  The system lost $20.00 on the race.

The 2nd free horse racing pick was out of the 2nd race at Delta Downs.  The 2nd is a restricted $10,000 claiming race for 3 year olds run at 7 furlongs.

Wunderdog Free Horse Racing Pick 2/29/2011
Top Wonderdog horse pick #7 Fast Time Streaker, 3 to 1 morning line, went off at 4 to 5 and won easily drawing clear.  Fast Time Streaker paid $3.60 to win and $2.40 to place.

The Wunderdog free value play was # 2 Angel's Chariot, 9 to 2 morning line, was off at 6 to 1 and  finished well to place 2nd.  Angel's Chariot paid $4.60 to place and completed a $23.60 exacta.  The Value Play free horse racing system won $62.00 for the race and $42.00 for the day.

The Value Play free horse racing system produced its first monthly loss ($32.50) since I started tracking the system in August 2011. To see the monthly historical results of the free Value Play system click of the Free Horse Racing System Link.

Wunderdog Free Horse Pick 2/26/2012
Today's free horse racing pick is out of the 5th race at Aqueduct, a NY state bred allowance race for 3 year old fillies run at a distance of  6 furlongs.  The weather in at Aqueduct continues to be very warm for this time of year and the track remains fast.

Top pick # 8 Sacred Success is a real standout here as demonstrated by her 3 to 5 morning line.  She soundly defeated her rivals in her last out and it won't be long before we see her at the stakes level.  She will be piloted by top jockey Ramon Dominquez, Rick Dutrow's top rider.  The Aqueduct betting public sent her off as the 1 to 5 favorite and the "bridge jumpers" were in the show pool.

Take a look at the odds in the rest of the field.  Every other horse in the field was sent off at double digits!

The other race horses are not bad race horses and would all be competitive were it not for Sacred Success.

Our Value Play selection is # 6 Dyna Vision.  She went off a huge overlay of 23 to 1 compared to her morning line of 5 to 1.  A victory by Dyna Vision would certainly make a big difference in the overall outcome for February.  This is the kind of race that horse racing systems are developed for.

Unfortunately for us Sacred Success was as good on the race track as she was on paper.   She easily beat the field paying $2.30 to win and $2.30 to place.  The "bridge jumpers" live to bet another day!  Second place finisher # 2 Lenders Way completed the exacta paying $6.20 to place and $10.40 in the exacta.

No Wunderdog newsletter until Wednesday February 29th.  We will need a big day to finish the month on the positive side of the ledger.

Wunderdog Free Horse Racing Pick 2/25/2012

Back to Tampa Bay today for our free horse racing pick.  The 8th at Tampa Bay is a 6 1/2 furlong Handicap for fillies and mares 4 year olds and up run on the dirt.

Top Wunderdog selection #6 It's Me Mon is a real standout according to the Tampa Bay line maker installing her as a 3 to 5 favorite.  She won in wire to wire fashion last out and has worked well since then.

Finding the Value Play horse was made easy with the scratch of #7 My Pal Christy.  #4 White Merlot went off a 6 to 1 overlay to her 3 to 1 morning line.

It's Me Mon was first out of the gate and quickly built a 2 length lead that she carried to the top of the stretch.  White Merlot followed It's Me Mom to the stretch running her down in the final strides to set a new track record.  White Merlot returned $14.80 to win and $3.20 to place.

The Value Play profit for the day is $33.00

Live Horse Racing System Play Continues Today

Live racing on Presidents Day caused an unusual amount of dark days across the country on Wednesday.  With the lack of live racing Wunderdog did not have a free pick yesterday.  Today's free pick is race 5 at Aqueduct, an Allowance Optional Claiming event run over 6 furlongs.  The weather at Aqueduct continues warm and springlike.  The track is fast.

Wunderdog Free Pick 2/23/2012
Wunderdog's top selection # 4 Crossbow (morning line 2 to 5) is a lightly raced gifted race horse whose only bad start came in a 2 turn route race.  He is a much different horse sprinting as he is today.

Our Value Play horse racing system horse is # 3 Temecula Creek (morning line 5 to 1).  Temecular Creek is a crafty 8 year old veteran who won his last 2 against weaker.  Temecular Creek picks up Eddie Castro today and should benefit from a fast pace upfront.  He went off at 7 to 1.

As the race unfolded Crossbow, off a 2 to 5, got no pressure up front and won easily.   Temecular Creek looked good at the top of the lane but had nothing when asked.  The system play lost $20.00 on the race.

February 17th through 19th - Horse Racing System Produces 3 Out Of 6 Winners For The Week

To play the Value Play horse racing system click on the Value Play Horse Racing System link. The system is Free!! To subscribe to the Wunderdog free horse racing newsletter click on the Wunderdog link or on the Wunderdog banner in the margin.

We wrapped up our week on a positive note hitting 2 winners out of the last 3 races.  Unfortunately the winning horses were underlays to their morning line.

We continue to struggle a little for the month but if we keep focused we will turn it around.  Take a look at the past months (August 2011 through January 2012) results by clicking here.

Wunderdog Free Race 2/19/12
Sunday's race was the second at Tampa, a six furlong race for fillies and mares 4 years old and up for a claiming price of $8,000.  #4 Extra Fuse was the morning line favorite and scratched.  The Value Play selection was #7 Seeking Reason (ML 9 to 2).  Seeking Reason was restlessness in the gate but dueled to mid stretch pulling away at the finish under pressure.  Seeking Reason returned $4.40 to win and $3.20 to place producing a system profit of $7.00.

Saturdays complimentary race from Wunderdog was the 3rd at Aqueduct.  The 3rd was an allowance race for 4 years old and up run at 6 furlongs.  The Value Play horse was the #6 Quick Money, a Linda Rice owned and trained horse with C. Valasquez riding.  Linda Rice is of course a top trainer but is especially dangerous when she or her father Clyde own the race horse.  I have seen her get these horses home at nice prices over the past few years. Cornelio Valasquez is her "go to" jockey of late.
Wunderdog Free Race 2/18/2012

So the stars are all aligned over our Value Play selection and he did not disappoint, getting home paying $7.30 to win and $4.10 to place.  Once again I think we were a little "short changed" on the odds but we have to stick to the rules of the system.  Our horse racing system profit for the race is $18.85.

Aqueduct Race 3 2/18/2012  Result
Wunderdog Free Horse Racing Pick 2.17/2012

On Friday February 17 the Wunderdog Free horse pick was out of Race #1 at Tampa Bay.  As usual the weather was warm at Tampa and the track was fast.  The race was a $8,000 claiming  event for 4 years old and up fillies and mares run at 6 furlongs.  The Value Play horse racing selection was #6 Riona, trained by Wayne Catalano and ridden by Pablo Morales.  Not a bad trainer/jockey combo!  Riona went off at 6 to 1 compared to her 8 to 1 morning line.

She raced evenly throughout the race and was in a good position at the top of the lane but had nothing left in the end.  She finished out of the money a disappointing 4th creating a $20.00 loss on the race.

Wunderdog Free Horse Racing Pick  2/16/2011
Today's free horse race system play is the 2nd at Tampa Bay, a $8,000 maiden claiming event run on the dirt at 1 1/16 miles.  The weather at Tampa Bay is warm and the track is fast.  Wunderdog's top selection #6 Coronado Charlie, is also the Value Play selection.  Coronado Charlie went off a slight underlay of 3 to 1 compared to his morning line of 7 to 2.

Trainer Jane Cibelli known for having her maidens ready second time out seriously drops Coronado Charlie in class and switches from turf to dirt.  Although not a serious challenger in his first start, Coronado Charlie is the horse to beat here.  Wonderdog 2nd choice #3 Baby Letters went off as a 4 to 5 favorite.

Coronado Charlie broke slowly and had to be steadied behind rivals early before looping 5 wide and finished strong outside to just miss at the finish.  Coronado Charlie paid $5.60 to place.  Baby Letters made a nice middle move but was out finished at the critical stages of the race finishing up a disappointing 4th.
