Hall Of Flame Overtakes Heavily Favored Azasecret To Pay $17.60

Free Horse Racing Pick  October 11, 2012
I received my free Wunderdog horse racing newsletter a little earlier than usual on Thursday as the free race was the first at Belmont.  The first race was a $20,000 maiden claiming race for fillies and mares run over the 6 furlong dirt track.

Top Wunderdog pick, a speedy filly named   Azasecret, went off as an overwhelming 3 to 5 favorite.  The Value Play Horse was #6 Hall Of Flame with a 5 to 1 morning line.  To learn how to play the "Value Play Horse" click in this link.

When the gate open Azasecret  sprung to the lead and led most of the way.  Our Value Play Horse drove past Azasecret at the wire returning to her backers $17.60 to win and $5.10 to place.  Using the rules detailed on the Value Play website we generated a $51.50 profit on the race.  For those who box exactas, the 6-8 exacta returned $32.00.

Results for the month are detailed below:

Off the Turf @ Belmont- Rock N Cozy Places

Wunderdog Free Horse Selection 10/3
Lots of rain on Long Island yesterday forcing the cancellation of turf racing at Belmont today.  Today's free Value Play selection was out of the 5th race at Belmont run over 6 furlongs for Maiden Special Weights.  The fillys were running for a purse of $52,000.  The Value Play selection with a 6 to 1 morning line was #5 Rock N Cozy.  She finished 2nd in her previous 2 main track starts and went off as a slight underlay to her morning line at 7 to 2.  She was ridden by John Valesquez and trained by Carl Domino.

The race was off cleanly and in the end  #7 Divadora won the race with #5 Rock N Cozy placing rounding out a $116.00 exacta.  Nice hit for those of you who play an exacta box using the Wunderdog's picks.
