To play the Value Play horse racing system click on the Value Play Horse Racing link. The system is Free!! To subscribe to the Wunderdog free horse racing newsletter click on the Wunderdog link or on the Wunderdog banner in the margin.

We have hit a little but of a slump here as we approach mid month.  Keeping daily records of the Value Play horse racing system helps keep our confidence up during these loosing periods.  Just as we experienced small slumps in mid November and early December the horse racing system will bounce back.  Because the horse racing system seems to pay big prices after these slumps it is more important than ever to keep disciplined and continue to keep to the rules.   Review the rules by clicking on the Horse Racing Link,  If you need your confidence reinforced check out the past months results page.

Wonderdog Sports Picks emailed us 2 free horse racing picks this weekend.  One Saturday and one Sunday.

Wunderdog Free Horse Racing Pick 2/11/2012
The Saturday free horse racing pick featured Aqueduct race #4.  The 4th at Aqueduct was the Dearly Precious Stakes for 3 year old fillies run on the inner track at 6 furlongs.  Top Wunderdog pick was #4 Singlet, an Anthony Dutrow trained filly with a 2 to 1 morning line.  She went off at 8 to 5 and fought tenaciously in the stretch to cross the wire first returning $5.20 to win and $2.80 to place.

The Value Play horse racing system was an interesting play, #2 Lisa T (8 to 1 morning line).  It is not often you get a Todd Pletcher trained horse at 8 to 1.  By chance, TVG (Matt Carothers and Rich Perloff) did a phone interview with WindStar Farm's CEO, Elliott Walden who talked about his entry in the Dear Precious, Lisa T before the race.  He said that Lisa T was named after the WindStar's owner Kenney Troutt's wife, Lisa Troutt.  He also said that in discussions with Pletcher they decided they liked Lisa T's chances in the race because she represented lone closing speed in the race.  They both agreed that could be just as powerful a handicapping angle as lone speed.  Interesting interview.......armed with all this information, the best Lisa T could do was third.

The Sunday free horse pick, also at Aqueduct,  was race #2, a maiden special weight race for 3 year of fillies, run at a mile 70 yards.

Wunderdog Free Horse Racing Pick 2/12/2011
The Value Play horse racing system play was #3 Opalite.  Opalite went off at 11 to 1, a huge overlay to her 4 to 1 morning line.  The David Donk trained filly showed brief speed last out off of a 3 month layoff.  She looked good to the top of the stretch but was outfinished by her rivals placing 4th.

Total loss for the weekend was $40.00.  We are off until Wednesday when the next Wunderdog free horse racing picks are due.
